Autumn prep. 

21-25 of October

We need 10 volunteers to help us put up the ship's winter cover structure.

Start Monday 08:00 – 16:30, finish on Friday.

Included: Lunch and fika.

We provide work pants and smock/coverall/rainwear.

Bring warm clothes since we are going to be outdoors all day and shoes you are not afraid of getting dirty!

You are welcome to sleep on board.

If so, you need to bring bed linen, towels and toiletries.

You have to make your own breakfast and dinner, and you can use the kitchen ashore.

It is possible to arrive later than 08:00 on Monday. Please let us know what time. 

We are unable to receive you after working hours.

The very first ever East India man Christmas market!

Christmas Market Premiere on the East Indiaman Götheborg We are opening the gates to a 1700s-inspired Christmas market on the pier of the East Indiaman! Come and enjoy a coffee on the cozy cannon deck with the scent of mulled wine and tar, and take the opportunity to finish your Christmas shopping at our market. We will have activities for both children and adults, both onboard the ship and on the pier. For those of you who wish to be part of the Christmas market or want more information (musicians, exhibitors, artisans, food operators), please send an email to info@gotheborg.se. We welcome the whole family to join us onboard the East Indiaman Götheborg! Opening Hours: December 7-8: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM December 14-15: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM Location: Pier 4, Eriksberg, Gothenburg (Nearest bus stop: Sörhallstorget, or Eriksberg ferry stop if taking the ferry.)
