Stockholm

First stop: Stockholm 26 August - 4 September

Götheborg of Sweden is the world’s largest wooden ocean-going sailing ship, and we look forward to the unique sailing expedition to Asia in 2022. The trip to Stockholm in August 2021 was the first stop on that adventure!

Stopover Stockholm

The sailing from Gothenburg to Stockholm took eleven days, and back to Gothenburg took nine days. On arrival in and departure from Stockholm we were followed by both boats and people on land and saluted the city in our special way. We moored at Skeppsbron 105 from 26th of August until the 4th of September, before heading back.

During the stop in Stockholm, Götheborg hosted a wide range of meetings, lunches and dinners – and during the first weekend we were also able to welcome visitors on board.

Thank you Stockholm for an amazing visit!

Join the adventure

The common mission for the expedition is to promote Swedish-Asian trade and put innovations for a better world on display.

The expedition and the ship as a platform provide a unique context where we can increase business opportunities for our partner companies. At the same time, we will put focus on the greatest challenge of our times – the adaptation to a sustainable future. The stop-over in the capital city will be a showcase of future possibilities for Swedish companies looking for new business opportunities in East Asia.
