In 2022, after leaving Gothenburg the 8th of June, Götheborg sailed in the Baltic Sea and Northern Europe before heading south towards the Mediterranean. The ship moored in Barcelona for the winter and headed out again the 20th of March 2023. The 2nd of June 2023, the ship arrived to Gothenburg to open the city's 400-year jubilee with gun salute and to participate in the Jubilee Festival. After the festival, the ship returned to her home quay in Eriksberg, where she will be open to visitors during summer 2023.
