Stockholm 2021

Stockholm 26 August - 4 September, 2021

Götheborg of Sweden is the world’s largest wooden ocean-going sailing ship, and we look forward to the unique sailing expedition to Asia in 2022 and 2023. The trip to Stockholm in August 2021 was the first "trial" stop on that adventure!

Stopover Stockholm in 2021

The sailing from Gothenburg to Stockholm took eleven days, and back to Gothenburg took nine days. On arrival in and departure from Stockholm we were followed by both boats and people on land and saluted the city in our special way. We moored at Skeppsbrokajen 105 from 26th of August until the 4th of September, before heading back.

During the stop in Stockholm, Götheborg hosted a wide range of meetings, lunches and dinners – and during the first weekend we were also able to welcome visitors on board.

Thank you Stockholm for an amazing visit!

Join the adventure

Götheborg of Sweden is getting ready for the Asia Expedition 2022/2023. The common mission for the expedition is to promote Swedish-Asian trade and create new business opportunities. The ship is a perfect platform to create commitment to the greatest challenge of our times – the adaptation to a sustainable future.

We are reaching out to the right strategic partners to join us. The expedition provides a context that goes way beyond unique. Will you join us?
