Sail to Asia in 2022

Götheborg of Sweden is sailing again and you can be a part of the adventure! Now is your chance to join the crew of the largest wooden sailing ship in the world, and climb the 40-meter rig. Deckhand As a deckhand you pay to sail along. You sail together with the professional crew, but are not required to have any sailing experience and will get training on board. A unique adventure where you will experience life on board a 17th century ship and make friends for life. Apply for a position on board here! Read more
Professional crew The professional crew consists of both paid and non-paid crew. Both need to have a seafarer education, or at least (mandatory) additional training certificates, and have experience of sailing on square-rigged sailing ships. Right now, we are not looking for any professional crew. Read more

Thank you Stockholm!

Now back in Gothenburg, we want to direct a big thank you to Stockholm – the city, our partners and guests, and everyone who came to visit us on board or from the quay. It was a week with fantastic events and great meetings, and we were overwhelmed by the warm and enthusiastic welcome from all our guests and the citizens of Stockholm.

Götheborg is arriving to Gothenburg tomorrow

Tomorrow, Sunday 12 September, at 2 pm, Götheborg is coming back to Gothenburg and Pir 4 on Eriksberg. It's been nearly a month since she left Gothenburg to sail to Stockholm and back.

Tomorrow, Saturday, 4 September, at 2pm (14:00) the ship Götheborg will leave Stockholm. We want to thank Stockholm, all of you that have come to look at the ship from shore, and all our guests that have been on board for a wonderful ten days.
