At arrival in Helsingborg, crowds on the quaysides greeted the ship, and an official ceremony was held, exchanging plaques, as the visit by Götheborg was the first official visit to Helsingborg. Thank you Port of Helsingborg and City of Helsingborg for inviting us!
In the following three days we greeted visitors on board the ship, and were very happy with the great reception from the people of Helsingborg. We even extended the number of tickets sold, and opened up for ticket sales for one more day than planned to meet the interest.
Yesterday, we changed deckhands on board, and greeted a new group of people who will sail with us on the next sailing legs. During out say, we've had many questions for the possibility to sail along. If you are interested, we still have spaces on the sailing leg from Helsinki end of June, and the sailing leg from Stockholm in mid July. Hope to see you on board!!
From Helsingborg we are now heading to Helsinki, Finland, where we arrive 23 June. The plan is to go via a direct route to Helsinki, past Bornholm, the southern tip of Öland and the coast of Gotland. Although this is the plan, we are dependent on weather and wind, so the route is subject ot change. You can always follow where we are on the map here.
Three of the days of the Helsinki stopover, the ship will be open to visitors. Experience the ship, learn about her history and see her at her most beautiful. Don't miss out on this opportunity! Ticket sales will open shortly.
