Summarising an amazing expedition year in 2022/2023

We have arrived back home! During the past year we have visited nineteen ports and welcomed 90,000 visitors on board. More than 2,000 articles have been written about us, and millions of people have followed us and engaged with us on social media. It’s been an amazing adventure and we want to thank everyone who have visited us, sailed with us, and worked with us!

Summarising an amazing expedition year in 2022/2023

Yesterday we moored at our home quay in Eriksberg, Gothenburg. We left Gothenburg one year ago, the 8th of June 2022 for a great expedition! Almost exactly one year later we returned to officially open Gothenburg's 400-year anniversary with gun salute.

We also participated in the Jubilee Festival in Frihamnen 2–5 June, and had amazing days with 7,000 visitors on board in just those few short days. The 17th of June we open again to visitors, but now in Eriksberg in Gothenburg. We're open all through summer as part of the 400-year jubilee and offer guided tours on board. Welcome on board!

Check out the photos below to get a summary and glimpse of all the ports that we have visited in the past year.

At the end of August, Götheborg of Sweden will attend Sweden’s largest shipping event, Donsö Shipping Meet (DSM). It’s the first time that the ship will attend the event, and it is also the first time that Götheborg will moor at Donsö in the southern archipelago outside of Gothenburg.
