Stepping aboard the East Indiaman Götheborg is like stepping into another era.
Take the opportunity to explore the ship at your own pace and move between the decks. Discover what life was like on board, with cramped spaces, intricate construction details, and traces of the extensive work behind the voyages to China and back. On board, guides, volunteers, and crew members share stories about life at sea—both historically and today.
The ship was built using traditional methods and requires constant care and maintenance. You’ll gain a unique insight into woodworking, rigging, ropes, and shipbuilding.
The experience continues on the pier, with ice cream, coffee and pastries, and a lively atmosphere where you can sit down and take it all in.

Welcome to explore the roots of tea and the organic evolution of tea drinking over thousands of years. We will taste 12 classic varieties of tea, including white, green, oolong, black, and post-fermented (Pu-erh) teas. We will also learn how to prepare Pu-erh tea cakes using a traditional Chinese tea set with a Gaiwan.
Vier Brillen Live Aboard the East Indiaman Götheborg! Experience Hisingen’s national orchestra at Pier Four, Eriksberg. Enjoy an evening filled with witty songs, sea shanties, sing-alongs, and a fantastic atmosphere. Food and drinks will be available for purchase on site. The perfect late-summer evening for families, friends, and everyone who loves live music in a unique historic setting.
