Welcome to a weekend filled with music, activities, and harbour fun at Pier 4, Eriksberg!

Ostindiefararen's Culture Festival – 28–30 August during Kulturkalaset!

The theme of this year’s festival is our historical heritage, with everything from exciting treasure hunts for children to meetings with our fantastic sailors, who are happy to share their stories and experiences of life at sea.

During the festival days, we offer live music, family-friendly activities, and waterfront experiences for all ages.
Free entry, everyone is welcome! Don’t forget to claim your free ticket to visit the ship via the button below.

The festival is organized by Ostindiefararen Götheborg, who wants all Gothenburg residents to have the opportunity to experience the city’s rich maritime history and visit our world-unique ship completely free of charge.

Zumba® Fitness is designed to improve cardiovascular fitness, strength, and coordination—all while bringing joy and positive energy.

We present a new guided tour!

08 July 2026

Join us on a guided tour from the city centre to the ship! We begin at Gustav Adolfs Square, where you will hear the story of Gothenburg’s founding. From there, we take a short walk, following the traces of the Swedish East India Company. Why did they travel to China? Who sailed on board, and what happened when the ships returned with their valuable cargoes?
