We are now headed for London, after four sunny and warm days in the Norwegian capital Oslo. Thank you Oslo for hosting us for a few days, and thank you to everyone who came and visited us. Oslo is the last stop in the Nordic countries before we head south on our great Asia Expedition 2022/2023.

Moored at Vippetangen near Akershus fortress, we've enjoyed fantastic warm and sunny weather. In addition to the visitors coming on board, we've hosted two great business events on board and also greeted partners . Yesterday around fifty new deckhands also came on board, ready for the experience of sailing an 18th century ship. We wish them fair winds!
Sailing into Oslo we had both NRK, TV2 and Nettavisen on board, and several more media visited us during the stopover. At arrival we were greeted by Jens Petter Christensen, Port Captain at Olso Havn, who handed over a plaque from the Port of Oslo.
From Oslo we are now heading to London where we will dock at South Dock Quay in Canary Wharf. We will arrive 8 August at 10:00am. Before mooring in Canary Wharf we will go up the Thames to pass underneath Tower Bridge at 09:00 am. Don't miss it, not every day an East Indiaman arrives in London!
If you want to know where we are while we are sailing, you can always follow us on the map here.
Come on board the ship and visit us while we're moored in London. Ticket sales are open.
Did you also know that anyone can sail along as a deckhand?! We still have spaces left for the sailing legs starting from Bremerhaven and onwards. Sail with us!
Watch the video from the fifth leg!
Sailing Leg 5 of the great Asia Expedition 2022/2023, named The City Hopper, went between two Scandinavian Capitals – Copenhagen to Oslo. We left Copenhagen 23 July 2022, and arrived in Oslo 30 July 2022. On board during the sailing leg, we had an amazing drone pilot, Christoffer Nilsson. We were hoping for full sails, but the weather had different plans. The footage from the sailing leg is still awesome, so have a look at this video for some great drone footage. It includes some pretty unique video shots with people working up in the rig and with the sails. Follow the sailing leg from start to finish in this video.

Zumba® Fitness is a workout that combines dance and fitness to energetic rhythms, mainly inspired by Latin American music such as salsa, merengue, reggaeton, and cumbia. It's a fun, high-energy workout that feels more like a dance party than exercise. Zumba® Fitness is designed to improve cardiovascular fitness, strength, and coordination—all while bringing joy and positive energy.
Join us on a guided tour from the city centre to the ship!
We begin at Gustav Adolfs Square, where you will hear the story of Gothenburg’s founding. From there, we take a short walk, following the traces of the Swedish East India Company.
Why did they travel to China? Who sailed on board, and what happened when the ships returned with their valuable cargoes?
