Account

After you have filled your information, a verification e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you entered upon registration. Click on the link to verify your e-mail address. Please note that the e-mail may have ended up in your trash bin, so check it out!

If the verification email is not in your inbox, it may have ended up in the trash bin. Look at that. If you can't find it in the trash bin, you may have entered the wrong e-mail address. Send an e-mail to sailing@soic.se for investigation.

Application

If your application has reached us, a confirmation e-mail has been sent to the e-mail address you have entered. The confirmation e-mail can sometimes end up in the trash bin so check this too.

You see the status of your application by logging in via https://soic.paamapplication.co.uk/soic/ and then click "Overview". Each position corresponds to a row and we have received your application if it has the status "Applied".

Selection

The selection process will be ongoing. You will be contacted via e-mail or phone if you are selected for an interview. You may expect to receive an answer to your application within two to four weeks.

Conditions

Unfortunately, persons with severe allergies cannot join the crew. We do, however, cater for gluten-free and lactose-free diets.

There are several reasons why we do not allow people with severe allergies to sail aboard Götheborg of Sweden. These include the limited storage space onboard and the risk that someone will have an allergic reaction while we are out at sea, far from land and medical care.

Yes, vegetarian (Lacto Ovo vegetarian) meals can be provided on Götheborg of Sweden.
