We don't have any planed sailing in 2024
As we have now arrived in our home port Gothenburg and are no longer on expedition, we do not have any more available sailing legs.

What to expect when sailing with us:
You can be part of the unique adventure of sailing on board Götheborg. You will experience life on board a 18th century ship and make friends for life. As a paying deckhand you sail together with the professional crew, but are not required to have any sailing experience and will get training on board.

Remember the sailboat rescue in April last year?

07 May 2024

On the 25th of April, off the coast of France just after 4pm, a distress call was sent by the MRCC regarding a sailing vessel that had lost its rudder and was drifting. Being the closest ship to the sailing boat, Götheborg answered the call.

We are looking for guides

We are looking for guides to work in our team and show the ship to the public. Since our guides need to be able to speak both swwedish and english, the rest of this news will follow in Swedish.
