Join us on the longest and most adventurous of the European sailing legs. Fifteen days of sailing, crossing the Bay of Biscay as we head south towards Lisbon and later the Mediterranean. A sail to cross off the bucket list!
Götheborg of Sweden is a fascinating destination located in the city of Gothenburg – a ship loaded with experience. A genuine working ship with a vibrant history, scarred by harsh storms and marked by thousands upon thousands of nautical miles on the seven seas. Here, during our guided tours, visitors get to know everything from captivating stories to the tremendous art of shipbuilding, in a contemporary 18th-century environment.

The ship and the shop are open on weekends, Saturdays and Sundays, 12:00–15:00.
Opening hours spring 2022:
8 January – 8 March: Open 12:00–15:00
9 March – 19 April: Closed for shipyard visit
30 April – 29 May: Open 12:00–15:00
Guided tours are held at 12:00, 13:00 and 14:00. The tours are held in Swedish. If requested, in English at 13:00. Please note that the ship can only be visited in the company of a guide.

Children 7-16 years: 70 SEK
Children 0-6 years: Free of charge
Family (2 adults + 2 children): 370 SEK
You can buy your tickets online or on-site, in our shop. As a part of the precautionary measures we have taken, we are now cash-free. You can pay by card or via Swish.

Take bus number 16 (towards Eketrägatan) or 99 (towards Frölunda Torg). Stop at Sörhallstorget. Walk in the direction of the bus, turn left at Mimergatan.
From Lilla Bommen, Stenpiren or Klippan to Eriksberg ferry stop.
Drive towards Hisingen and Norra Älvstranden, Eriksberg. Turn into Östra Eriksbergsgatan, and then Mimergatan. Set your GPS to Mimergatan 6. Parking is available at Hotel 11 and in the multi-storey car park at Östra Eriksbergsgatan.
Ask for Mimergatan 6, Eriksberg.
In addition to our general tours, you can pre-book guided tours during other times.
Pre-booked tours are offered in Swedish, English, German, French, and Chinese.

In September, Götheborg will sail to Lisbon, Portugal. It is the first time that the ship visits Portugal. Götheborg will be in Lisbon 5–8 September 2022 and will be moored at the central location of Cais Rocha Conde de Óbidos. The ship will be open to visitors during its stay. Welcome on board!
We have now been at the shipyard for a number of weeks in order to get ready for the Asia Expedition. We've had sunshine, rain and snowstorms during our time at Gotenius, but now it's time to head back to Pier 4 at Eriksberg in Gothenburg. Let us tell you all about it.
