Götheborg of Sweden is the world's largest ocean-going wooden sailing ship, an 18th century replica of the original Götheborg that sank outside of Gothenburg in 1745, and will create great attention wherever she goes. Thank you Malta for great days at the Valletta Cruise Port! It has been a lovely stay with the beautiful backdrop of this historic city. We want to thank everyone for the very warm welcome to Malta and the great interest in the ship. We had amazing days!
Today, at 12:00 am, we arrived to Malta. We are excited to get to be in a country with such a strong sea tradition. We are moored at the Valletta Cruise Port with the beautiful city of Valletta in the background. We are looking forward to our stop here with the backdrop of this historical place.
Our eight spectacular days in Nice and Monaco, that included an amazing interest from the people in Nice (thank you!), great media coverage and the delivery of a life-sized elephant sculpture to H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco. A very unusual sight on sundeck to highlight the important issue of ghost nets and the health of our oceans.
Instead of heading straight from Nice to Valletta as planned, the route has been changed and the ship is now also making a short stopover in Monaco. However, it is not just a regular stopover: It will include the spectacular delivery of a 2.4-meter-high elephant sculpture to H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco.
We have some great news! We will make a short, but sweet visit to Monaco. This means that we will leave Nice on 4 October instead of 6 October. We will be in Monaco 4–6 October and will be open to visitors 5–6 October. Welcome on board!
Tuesday 20 September we sailed out of Málaga, after almost a full week in the harbor in the city center. The days here has been amazing with lots of interested journalists and visitors on board. Next stop is Nice, France!
Today, at 10:30 am, we arrived to the city of Malaga, the beautiful city in the south of Spain. We were happy to be greeted with fantastic weather and many interested reporters. We are so excited for our stay here.
Friday 9 September we sailed out of Lisbon, with a big crowd of people watching the gun salute at Torre de Belém. We've had a lovely week in the Portuguese capital with great events and visits on board, as well as visitors from the public. Next stop is Málaga, Spain!

From 17-21 August, we visited Bremerhaven Maritime Days. Together with more than 80 other ships and more than 350,000 visitors we had fabulous days in Germany and wish to thank the Maritime Tage Bremerhaven 2022 organisation for inviting us!
