Interview with Martin and Mathias Ravanis
During Gothenbug Boat Show in February, me managed to meet up with the Ravanis brothers and ask them a couple of questions about the building of our two ship boats.
Götheborg of Sweden is the world's largest ocean-going wooden sailing ship, an 18th century replica of the original Götheborg that sank outside of Gothenburg in 1745, and will create great attention wherever she goes. In 2022 and 2023 the ship has sailed in Europe and it is now moored in its home port Gothenburg. Read our latest news here and scroll down to the bottom of this page to sign up for our newsletter.

In August, we will attend the freshly started Gothenburg Row. During the cultural feast in Gothenburg, lots of traditional row boats will tour around the inner city canal.
A decision to proceed with inspections for 2024 has been made.
Are you interested in volunteering at Götheborg during our maintenance period? We are now looking for a few volunteers who have sailed with us recently and are willing to stay with us for 6-8 weeks.
Summer is over and the maintenance of our beloved ship is in need of some extra pair of hands! If you have time to spend, and love the dark and musky fragrance of tar?
